25 Cancer Stem Cell Killing Foods Smarter Than Chemo & Radiation

An important scientific review identifies 25 of the top foods and herbs which kill the cancer stem cells at the root cause of cancer malignancy. 

There are thousands of natural compounds that have been studied with demonstrable anti-cancer activity (check out over 600 on our cancer research database), but only a small subset of these have been proven to target and kill the cancer stem cells which lie at the root of cancer malignancy. Why are these substances so important?

The primary reason why conventional chemotherapy and radiotherapy have failed to produce any significant improvements in cancer survival rates is because cancer stem cells are resistant to these interventions. In fact, chemotherapy and especially radiation are both capable of increasing the number and virulence of these cells in a tumor, while at the same time having the well-known side effect of further damaging the patient’s immune system.

While the cancer industry is still very much resistant to incorporating the implications of these findings into their standard of care (which is highly unethical), there are an increasing number of health practitioners that will not turn their back on the truth and are very much interested in alternative ways to prevent and treat cancer using food and/or plant-based approaches.

The new study addresses the relevance of cancer stem cells as follows:

“The cancer stem cell model suggests that tumor initiation is governed by a small subset of distinct cells with stem-like character termed cancer stem cells (CSCs). CSCs possess properties of self-renewal and intrinsic survival mechanisms that contribute to resistance of tumors to most chemotherapeutic drugs. The failure to eradicate CSCs during the course of therapy is postulated to be the driving force for tumor recurrence and metastasis. Recent studies have focused on understanding the unique phenotypic properties of CSCs from various tumor types, as well as the signaling pathways that underlie self-renewal and drug resistance.”

At present, the cancer industry has failed to produce a single drug that targets the cancer stem cell population of cells within a tumor, as confirmed by the study:

“If indeed the CSC response is a vital criterion for cancer treatment evaluation, there are still no drugs in clinical use that specifically target CSCs.”

The ability to selectively target cancer cells, and cancer stem cells in particular, while leaving intact the non-tumor cells in tissue is extremely important. Italian Doctor: Cancer Is a Fungus That Can Be Treated With Sodium Bicarbonate

According to Italian doctor Tulio Simonchini, cancer is nothing but a fungus which can be eliminated with Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda). Dr. Simonchini used this method to cure thousands of patients suffering from different types of cancer, and claims that it is 100% effective.

Cancer is a fungus!

However, in my opinion, cancer is a fungal infection and a special cellular phenomenon,” says Dr. Simonchini, who has sent shockwaves around the medical community with his claim.

CandidaIn the plant world, carcinoma is caused by fungal infections, and the same happens in humans. Fungi always carry a tumor with them – this has been proven in both in vivo and in vitro studies. However, scientists believe that they develop after the disease appeared. Dr. Simonchini believes that they were already there before – fungi create cancer, weaken our immune system and then attack the whole body.

Every type of cancer is caused by the Candida fungus, which has been confirmed by several studies, and its histological structure is a result of the defensive measures against the invasion. Over time, our tissues are weakened and tired, and they start producing unidentified cells.According to Dr. Simonchini, cancer is an “ulcer” where deformed cells accumulate and form colonies.

Baking soda

The usual antifungal drugs are ineffective against cancer as they only attack the surface of the cells. The main infection is more powerful than a single bacterium, which is why fungal infections last for so long.

“I have identified the things that can attack these colonies of fungi – for cancer, it’s Sodium Bicarbonatebaking soda, and a iodine tincture is the best substance for skin cancer,” claims Dr. Simonchini.

Many studies have confirmed baking soda’s intracellular action against cancer.

The treatment

“I have used the treatment on my patients for more than 20 years. Many of these patients have completely recovered from the disease. Even when doctors gave them no chances. The best way to eliminate a tumor is for it to come in contact with Sodium Bicarbonate, baking soda. Sodium Bicarbonate can be applied as an enema for digestive cancers, intravenous injection for brain and lung tumors and inhalation for tumors in the upper respiratory system. Breast, lymph system and subcutaneous tumors can be treated with a local perfusion. Internal organ tumors should be treated with baking soda by applying it directly into the arteries. It’s also important to treat every type of cancer with the proper dose,” Dr. Simonchini explains, and continues:

“For phleboclisis, you’ll need about 500 cm. of 5% or 8.4% solution; in some cases, the mixture only needs to be salty enough. During every treatment, it’s important to know that tumor colonies come back between the 3 and 4 day, and suffer a collapse between the 4 and 5 day, so a minimum of 6 days of treatment is required. The treatment should be repeated for 4 cycles, and has no other side-effects other than thirst and weakness.”

“For skin cancer, you should rub a 0.7% iodine tincture on the affected areas 20-30 times a day. Afterwards, the tumor will not return,” Dr. Simonchini says.

Here are the main symptoms of Candida infection: Chronic fatigue; Obsessive-compulsive disorder; Anxiety and irritability; Brain fog and nausea; Chronic skin disorders; Chronic digestive disorders; Mood changes; Starch and sugar cravings.

If you have notice at least 2 of these symptoms, you may have an advanced stage of candida infections which may result in cancer, so they should never be ignored.

Treatment and prevention of candida infections

The fungal development must be kept in check. Left untreated, candida can lead to candidiasis which can cause symptoms that mimic other diseases and result in perforation in the intestines and leaky gut syndrome. This will allow protein to attack your blood cells. In order to prevent further problems, we first need to eliminate the foods that feed candida – sugar and starch. This means no bread, candy, fresh fruit, pasta and rice for a while. Focus on eating raw fruit and steamed vegetables, and some people have had great results with grapefruit seeds. Dr. Simonchini recommends using aluminum-free baking soda for the treatment of cancer. It can be found in almost all health stores and pharmacies.

How the therapy works

Sodium Bicarbonate,Baking soda, significantly increases the alkalinity of your blood which destroys the fungi. Due to this, baking soda quickly disintegrates the tumor, leaving it without defense.

For stomach, colon, rectal and oral cancer, you need to take 1 teaspoon of Sodium Bicarbonate, baking soda, in a glass of water every morning and evening for a month. In most cases, this is enough time to eliminate the tumor. The therapy should last 3-4 weeks and not a day more. Dr. Simonchini’s therapy also usually requires intravenous injections as well. For best results, you’ll need 500 ml. of 5% baking soda solution applied in the vein directly every day. Do this for 24 days, then go for a scan. Vaginal fungal infections have become pretty common nowadays and according to Dr. Simonchini, they are the main culprit for cervical cancer and vaginal tumors. In order to treat these problems, you need to wash your vagina with a mixture made of 2 l. of filtered water and 2 tablespoons of baking soda. This will defeat the fungi that are causing the problem and prevent them from coming back in the future.

Frankincense oil kills cancer cells while boosting the immune system

Frankincense oil is a powerful medicinal oil that can not only boost the immune system but also kill cancer cells, a number of studies have shown. (NaturalNews)
One of the most significant recent studies was conducted by researchers from the University of Leicester, England, in 2013. The researchers found that the naturally occurring frankincense compound acetyl-11-keto-beta-boswellic acid (AKBA) targeted and destroyed ovarian cancer cells. The findings were particularly significant because they showed that AKBA had this effect even in late-stage ovarian cancer patients, not just in laboratory trials performed on isolated cells.

“Frankincense is taken by many people with no known side effects,” lead researcher Kamla Al-Salmani said. This finding has enormous potential to be taken to a clinical trial in the future and developed into an additional treatment for ovarian cancer.”

Kills cancer and reduces radiation side effects

The Leicester findings build on a large and still growing body of evidence that frankincense and its compounds have powerful immune-boosting and cancer-fighting benefits.

A study published in BMC Complementary and Alternative Medicine in 2009, for example, found that the herbal form of frankincense triggered death in bladder cancer cells by activating several different cellular pathways. Another study, conducted by researchers from Nihon University in Tokyo and published in Biological and Pharmaceutical Bulletin, showed that several chemical components of frankincense were able to kill three separate human neuroblastoma cell lines. The same study also found that frankincense inhibited the growth of Epstein-Barr virus.

Neuroblastoma is a type of cancer that forms in nerve cells and primarily affects young children. Other studies have shown that frankincense and its components can kill cancers of the brain, breast, colon, pancreas, prostate and stomach.

Frankincense may also help mitigate the often-debilitating side effects of cancer treatment. One study, published in the journal Cancer in 2011, was performed on brain cancer patients experiencing cerebral edema (swelling) as a side effect of radiation therapy. The researchers found that 60 percent of participants given frankincense experienced a 75 percent reduction in cerebral swelling, a potent enough result for the authors to recommend frankincense as a potential alternative to steroids, the current favored treatment. Side effects of steroids can include headaches, blurred vision and migraines.

All-around immune booster

Frankincense’s cancer-fighting benefits seem to come, in part, from its potent effects on the immune system. One study, conducted by researchers from Baylor University Medical Center, found that acts upon the expression of genes that help regulate the immune system, leading to cancer cell death. Another study, published in Phytotherapy Research, found that mice given frankincense exhibited increases in several key markers of immune function, primarily levels of white blood cells (lymphocytes) and anti-inflammatory activity.

Numerous studies confirmed frankincense as a powerful anti-inflammatory. This, along with its other immune-boosting properties, may in part explain its usefulness in fighting infection and in treating autoimmune conditions such as asthma, rheumatoid arthritis and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

Frankincense can also be used to heal skin, including from acne and scarring, and can reduce anxiety levels.

If you wish to incorporate frankincense as a regular natural health booster, it can be taken as an undiluted essential oil on the skin or as a few drops under the tongue. Magnesium deficiency has even has been linked to inflammation in the body and higher CRP levels.

This is all further complicated by the fact that magnesium is often poorly absorbed and easily lost from our bodies. To properly absorb magnesium we need a lot of it in our diet, plus enough vitamin B6, vitamin D, and selenium to get the job done.

A recent scientific review of magnesium concluded, “It is highly regrettable that the deficiency of such an inexpensive, low-toxicity nutrient results in diseases that cause incalculable suffering and expense throughout the world.” (ii) I couldn’t’ have said it better myself.

It is difficult to measure and hard to study, but magnesium deficiency accounts for untold suffering — and is simple to correct. So if you suffer from any of the symptoms I mentioned or have any of the diseases I noted, don’t worry — it is an easy fix!! Here’s how.

Stop Draining Your Body of Magnesium

  • Limit coffee, colas, salt, sugar, and alcohol
  • Learn how to practice active relaxation
  • Check with your doctor if your medication is causing magnesium loss (many high blood pressure drugs or diuretics cause loss of magnesium)

Eat Foods High in Magnesium

Include the following in your diet as often as you can:

Kelp, wheat bran, wheat germ, almonds, cashews, buckwheat, brazil nuts, dulse, filberts, millet, pecans, walnuts, rye, tofu, soy beans, brown rice, figs, dates, collard greens, shrimp, avocado, parsley, beans, barley, dandelion greens, and garlic

Take Magnesium Supplements

  • The RDA (the minimum amount needed) for magnesium is about 300 mg a day. Most of us get far less than 200 mg.
  • Some may need much more depending on their condition.
  • Most people benefit from 400 to 1,000 mg a day.
  • The most absorbable forms are magnesium citrate, glycinate taurate, or aspartate, although magnesium bound to Kreb cycle chelates (malate, succinate, fumarate) are also good.
  • Avoid magnesium carbonate, sulfate, gluconate, and oxide. They are poorly absorbed (and the cheapest and most common forms found in supplements).
  • Side effects from too much magnesium include diarrhea, which can be avoided if you switch to magnesium glycinate.
  • Most minerals are best taken as a team with other minerals in a multi-mineral formula.
  • Taking a hot bath with Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate) is a good way to absorb and get much needed magnesium.

People with kidney disease or severe heart disease should take magnesium only under a doctor’s supervision.

De Nieren genezen met natriumbicarbonaat (zuiveringszout!)

Natriumbicarbonaat is niet alleen een uitstekend middel voor natuurlijke chemotherapie, omdat het O2 niveaus door verhoogde alkaliteit aan de cellen verhoogt, maar het is ook een van de meest fundamentele middelen tegen nierziekte.

John, een dialyse technicus in hetzelfde instituut als Dr. Hariachar, die vroeger zelf aan dialyse werd blootgesteld gedurende 2 jaar als gevolg van nierfalen, zag dat zijn nieren wonderbaarlijk weer gingen functioneren tot het punt waar dialyse niet meer nodig was. Hij stelt dat hij orale doses natriumbicarbonaat kreeg voorgeschreven gedurende zijn behandeling, en neemt het nog steeds dagelijks om herhalingen van nierfalen te voorkomen. Dr. Hariachar handhaaft echter dat niet iedereen geholpen zal kunnen worden door het nemen van bicarbonaat. De nieren alleen produceren ongeveer tweehonderdvijftig gram (ongeveer een half pond) bicarbonaat per dag in een poging om zuur te neutraliseren in het lichaam. De nieren controleren en beheersen de zuurgraad of het “zuur-base” (pH) evenwicht van het bloed. Als het bloed te zuur is, maken de nieren bicarbonaat aan om de pH-balans te herstellen. Indien het bloed te alkalisch is, dan scheidt de nier bicarbonaat in de urine om het evenwicht te herstellen. Zuur-base balans is het netto resultaat van twee processen, eerst het verwijderen van bicarbonaat na waterstofionen productie van het metabolisme van voedingsbestanddelen; tweede, de synthese van het “nieuwe” bicarbonaat door de nieren.

Of note, so far, most human trials investigating these effects have been limited to studies of fewer than 100 people, which, in the research world, makes them small studies. When it comes to blood pressure lowering effects, a higher dosage might be needed. Indeed, while a 1 gram dosage of spirulina was ineffective, a dose of 4.5 grams per day for 6 weeks was shown to reduce blood pressure in individuals with normal blood pressure levels.

Spirulina may have beneficial blood pressure lowering effects, but only in high dosages. Further research in people with high blood pressure (rather than healthy individuals) is needed before any conclusions can be drawn!

7. Helps With Diabetes

Yes, spirulina may also help keep your blood sugar levels in check! So far, several animal studies showed significantly lower blood sugar levels following spirulina intake, in some cases, even outperforming other popular diabetes drugs such as Metformin.

Spirulina’s blood sugar regulating activity is most likely due to positive effects on insulin sensitivity. This supplement contains both manganese and the amino acid cysteine, both of which are known to play a role in insulin production.

Interestingly, some evidence of this effect also exists in humans. Indeed, a clinical study found significantly lower blood sugar levels and glycated serum protein levels (an indicator of average blood sugar levels) following supplementation with 2 grams of spirulina for 2 months. The only caveat is that this was a small study, performed in 15 diabetic patients.

Antioxidants are molecules known to prevent cell damage. As such, could spirulina also prevent or help treat cancer? Many supporters seem to think so. Let’s take a look at what the scientific community has to say about this.

Research in animals does show that spirulina can reduce cancer occurrence and tumor size. But, although many animal and cell studies have corroborated this, to date, not many human studies can be identified.

One, looking at the effect of spirulina supplementation on oral cancerous lesions, found that 45% of patients showed complete regression of cancerous lesions after intake of 1 gram of Spriulina per day for 12 months. One thing to keep in mind is that, although the results appear promising, this study was unblinded and non-randomized which means that it has to be taken with a grain of salt.

A more recent study looking at 40 subjects with oral precancerous lesions showed that supplementation with 1 gram of spirulina per day over a period of 4 months led to greater improvements in symptoms than the drug Pentoxyfilline.

Kanker
Recent onderzoek in Japan en Australië heeft ontdekt dat kanker aan de maag en botten met succes is genezen door een mengsel van honing en kaneelpoeder. The key to curing the type of pancreatic cancer that afflicted Apple visionary Steve Jobs just might be found in an ancient Chinese herb that has long played a crucial role in traditional Chinese medicine. A new study published in the journal Science Translational Medicine has revealed that lei gong teng, also known as “thunder god vine,” possesses at least one unique compound capable of fully eradicating cancer tumors within 40 days, which could eventually make the herb a go-to alternative for treating cancer.

(NaturalNews)  A research team from the University of Minnesota’s Masonic Cancer Center discovered that, when given an injectable extract form of Tripterygium wilfordii, mice with pancreatic tumors experienced complete healing and recovery in fewer than five weeks. Even after discontinuing the treatment, the healed mice indefinitely maintained their healthy, cancer-free state with no signs of tumor resurgence or relapse.

The lei gong teng compound believed to be primarily responsible for killing cancer tumors is triptolide, an active diterpenoid that has been shown in several previous studies to exhibit broad anti-cancer activity. The team was able to effectively isolate this triptolide and convert it into a water soluble form, which researchers then injected into the mice regularly for a little more than one month, which was enough to cure the animals’ cancers.

“This [herb] is just unbelievably potent in killing tumor cells,” said Ashok Saluja, vice chairman of research at the center, to Bloomberg about the findings. “You could see that every day you looked at those mice, the tumor was decreasing and decreasing, and then just gone.”

Back in 2007, researchers from both Yale University and Columbia University found that triptolide effectively triggers cancer cell apoptosis, also known as programmed cell death. Numerous other studies over the years have also identified triptolide as a powerful tumor fighter in a general sense, including as a weapon against aggressive prostate cancers.

“Triptolide, a diterpenoid isolated from the Chinese herb Tripterygium wilfordii Hook.f, has shown antitumor activities in a broad range of solid tumors,” wrote researchers from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in a 2006 study on the powerful herb. This particular study found that triptolide targets various leukemic cancer cell lines, as well as increases the effectiveness of other anticancer agents.
